Breastfeeding Awareness Campagin was conducted in 6 Maternity Hospitals/ Sonography Centres for Pregnant and Lactacting Women and the Women were convinced to take pledge that they will breastfeed their Children Some of the Few points conveyed to these wormen were as follows:- *With no additional burden on household income, breastfeeding is a low-cost way of feeding babies and contributes to poverty reduction. *Nutrition, food security and poverty reduction are fundamental to achieving the United Nation’s sustainable development goal *Breastfeeding prevents hunger and Malnutrition in all its forms and ensures food securities for babies, even in times of crisis *Let us pledge to gift our generation with the love and nutrition by adopting breastfeeding
